If your tailgate hits your trailer jack every time you hitch up, you already know the problem. You either back in until it barely clears, unhitch every time you need the truck bed, or accept a dented tailgate as part of life. The Jack Back OnTop fixes this permanently.

The OnTop relocates your electric or manual tongue jack straight back on the trailer tongue — 8 to 38 inches depending on the model. Your tailgate swings open completely. Your truck bed is fully accessible. The jack takes no hit.

What Makes It Different

• Moves the jack straight back, keeping it centered on the tongue — ideal for RVs and livestock trailers where balance matters
• Works with both electric and manual jacks; the jack face angle is infinitely adjustable in 30° increments so the control is always where you want it

Three Models

• OnTop ($199) — includes 16″ and 20″ mounting bars; moves the jack 8 to 12 inches back from stock
• OnTop Plus ($229) — includes 20″ and 24″ bars; moves the jack 8 to 17 inches
• OnTop Maxi ($279) — includes 16″ and 20″ bars plus 4 extension bars; moves the jack up to 38 inches. Can also mount two batteries, one on each end.

Most trailer owners choose the OnTop or OnTop Plus. The Maxi is for trailers with a lot of tongue — or for owners who want maximum clearance and the option to add battery storage.

Installation

Factory assembled. Adjust to fit your trailer frame, shackle it to the tongue, move the jack, install the lead screw. No cutting, no welding. Most installs take under an hour.
