Description
The R&M Jack Back OnSide Trailer Jack Relocation Kit moves the trailer jack back, out of the way, so you can easily access your rear compartment, load and unload while hitched, and avoid tailgate damage from hitting the jack. Mounts anywhere on the tongue – front or back, facing inside or outside on left or right frame rail, wherever most convenient. The jack can face in a dozen different directions, one every 30º. Supports electric or manual jacks, all 2″ wide frames of all heights.
The Jack Back OnSide is a fixed, always-installed trailer jack relocation solution designed for customers who want maximum stability and a set-it-and-forget-it setup. The OnSide Removable, by contrast, uses a dock-and-lock design that allows the entire jack and mount to be removed from the trailer when needed. The removable version was developed for situations where temporary clearance, theft deterrence, or protection from the elements matters—such as boat trailers that are backed into the water, tight storage situations, or applications where the jack could be vulnerable. Both models solve the same tailgate-clearance problem, but the OnSide prioritizes permanence and rigidity, while the OnSide Removable prioritizes flexibility and full removal when required.
Or buy two OnSides and mount them on both front corners to create a Trailer Stabilizing System more powerful and much less costly than a power stabilizer jack. And they install in minutes on the tongue instead of hours on the ground. Prevents the trailer from rockin’ n rollin’ when people or animals move around inside and when loading or unloading a hauling trailer. You can use inexpensive jacks because you always have a backup. The two OnSide steel plates are as strong as a steel bar 1 inch thick and 3½ inches wide!
All steel parts are Hot Dip Galvanized, the ultimate rust prevention technology! Its effectiveness and durability are unrivalled. The steel is immersed in +830ºF molten zinc, which blends them metallurgically, the zinc effectively becoming part of the steel rather than stuck to the surface like paint. Endures 35 to 50 years in harsh, salt water environments, 50 to 75 years in typical, in-land locations!
R&M recommends two excellent products that deliver unique benefits to many trailer owners and merit your serious consideration. R&M derives no profit from their sales, but long experience makes us appreciate their value.
